Activities
GeoCAMP-GEOSCHOOL (Iceland): A series of training workshops for teachers and students focused on geosciences, climate change, and renewable energy. Participants will engage in excursions to geologically significant sites and interactive learning sessions with experts from GeoCamp Iceland and the Reykjanes UNESCO Global Geopark.
Poland Mobility: Hands-on activities and workshops in Poland designed to integrate geoscientific knowledge into the school curriculum. Participants will engage in geo-mapping, fossil identification, and visits to nature reserves, including the Krutynia Dolna Nature Reserve and the Mazury Landscape Park.
Romania Mobility-GEOSCHOOL ACTIVITIES: Field visits to Hateg Dinosaurs Geopark and other geoparks in Romania. Practical workshops will enable participants to observe the effects of climate change firsthand and engage in geo-education activities, fostering a deeper understanding of geodiversity and geoheritage.
Turkey Meeting + Conference: A final meeting and GEOSCHOOLS conference in Turkey, hosted by Ali Caglar Anadolu Lisesi. This event will provide an opportunity to evaluate project outcomes, share experiences, and plan future initiatives. Activities will include seminars and discussions on the development and implementation of geo-education policies.
GEOSCHOOLS WORKSHOPS: A series of workshops conducted throughout the project duration, focusing on various geoscientific topics, climate change education, and the development of educational tools and resources. These workshops will facilitate the creation of a comprehensive Geoeducation Policy and support the establishment of Geoeducation Clubs in participating schools.
