Innovative Learning Opportunities: Develop and implement innovative learning opportunities in geosciences for students, utilizing the unique environments and resources of UNESCO Global Geoparks.
GEOSCHOOL Network: Create a GEOSCHOOL network that fosters collaboration and knowledge sharing among schools and geoscientific institutions across Europe. Teacher and Student Training: Train teachers and students in the fundamental principles of geosciences and their application to understanding and addressing climate change. Environmental Awareness: Foster environmental awareness and green skills among students to prepare them for the challenges of a changing climate. Educational Materials: Produce a comprehensive set of educational materials, including lesson plans, activities, and multimedia resources, to support geosciences education in schools. EU Climate Action: Support the EU’s goals for education and climate action by integrating sustainable practices and awareness into school curriculums. |
